Volunteer Day at Compost site and Super Service Saturday
A brief description of the campaign:
UT Arlington has a on site compost program. Throughout the year we host Volunteer Day the compost site for the campus community to learn about composting and also help our master composter John Darling.
We also hosted Virtual tour of the Compost site during the pandemic.
Dedicated students from The University of Texas at Arlington spent their Saturday volunteering for community service projects with local organizations across the city. Super Service Saturday in 2021 fell on Sept. 11.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
About 230 students from 32 student organizations participated at 14 project sites throughout Arlington, working with groups such as Mission Arlington, UTA Community Garden, the city’s Parks and Recreation Department, Arlington Public Libraries and more.

A campaign that we host every year to provide Electronic Waste Recycling to the campus community ( students, Faculty, staff) and celebrate America Recycles Day.
