A brief description of the trayless dining program:
Aramark and UT Arlington began the trayless initiative at the beginning of Fall of 2009 in the Connections’ Café (cafeteria style dining primarily for students living in on campus housing and participating in the meal program). The program was adopted to use less water and soap to clean the trays each day. Additionally, students tend not to take more food than needed without the tray.
