The Chair of the Working Group on Curriculum Research and Community Engagement surveyed the sustainability course listed on the University’s sustainability website (http://www.uta.edu/sustainability/Courses.php; accessed 7/29/2010, data covering 1 year). The definition of Sustainability-Focused Courses developed for ER Credit 5 was applied to identify Sustainability-Focused Courses. Total number of courses for fall 2009 and spring 2010 was provided by Institutional Research and Planning (IRP). Because sustainability courses are all defined as lecture-type courses in the categorization used by IRP, the total number of lecture courses was used in scoring (excluding labs, seminars, practicums, independent study, etc.).
