VALIC Company II - Socially Responsible Fund is an open-ended equity mutual fund launched and managed by Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company. The fund is co-managed by SunAmerica Asset Management Corp. It invests in the public equity markets of the United States. The fund makes its investments in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Index. The fund does not invests in stocks of companies operating in the production of nuclear energy, the manufacture of military weapons or delivery systems, the manufacture of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products, the operation of gambling casinos, and labor relations/labor disputes.
