A brief description of the institution’s green athletics program:
"Zero-Waste Game Days" are events in which staff and volunteers divert recyclable and compostable waste from landfill at football and softball games. UT's chapter of the Food Recovery Network recovers uneaten food for local food pantry donation. As of FY23, all serviceware provided at football and softball games will be compostable.
