Employees may use up to eight paid work hours each year to engage in volunteer service with any organization at any time as long as it is approved by a supervisor. Paid volunteer hours do not count as hours for the purposes of overtime or workers compensation. This program has been endorsed and advertised by the chancellor, herself.
