The Office of Sustainability has provided recommendations that sustainability-focused material should be given during orientations across campus, but tracking the rate at which this material is actually distributed is extremely difficult.
Within Facilities Services and the University Housing departments, new employees receive basic recycling training during their orientation. New employees working specifically within the Office of Sustainability will receive additional training about universal and hazardous waste management.
