The University of Tennessee's custodial services is not outsourced to a contractor. The University is dedicated to a clean, safe, and accessible study and work environment. In order to achieve these things, UT launched Green Cleaning Program in 2006 covering campus-wide buildings. 93% of the cleaning products are classified as green products, with the exception being certain hospital-grade disinfectants.
