The Finance Investment Subcommittee (FAC ISC) is responsible for the ESG framework implementation and monitoring under the Investment Policy 2017. The University first started measuring its carbon footprint of its investments in 2014. Over this period, the University has reduced its carbon intensity by 69.9% and its absolute emissions have come down by 79.0% as of 30 Sept 2020.

At the time of submission, the University is currently reviewing its investment portfolio as linked to targets under our new Sustainability Strategy. This will see changes made to our investor responsibilities, increasing our sustainable investments portfolio and new guidelines on our expectations for our fund managers.
