USydney supports employee volunteering during regular work hours when employees are participating in a voluntary emergency management activity that involves dealing with an emergency or natural disaster as part of a recognised emergency management body such as the State Emergency Service or to serve in the Australian Defence Force as a volunteer or reservist.
