A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Employee Orientation is now a self-paced in-depth virtual course new employees must complete in the first quarter of employment and includes a section on Sustainability within our Mission/Convictions section to demonstrate the centrality of Sustainability to our campus community. It contains a number of resources for new hires including directions on how to search for Sustainability related events within the campus calendar, links to our Sustainability Strategic Plan, social media links relating to Sustainability as well as a video overview of Sustainability on campus and many other resources.
Sustainability is also a central component of our 2025 Strategic Plan, which is also highlighted in Orientation.
