A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Starting in Fall of 2020, GreenerU supported the University of Southern California in engaging key stakeholders and gathering data for the univeristy's first STARS submission. GreenerU had weekly check-ins with USC Office of Sustainability staff and used an online shared document for the data collection process and third party review of the report.
The review of this report include:
- Review of all credits using AASHE’s STARS 2.2 Review Template
- Written feedback to STARS submission stakeholders on potential data issues
- Secondary review to ensure issues have been addressed
- Weekly check-in calls/meetings
- Post-submission data inquiry support for above credits
