The term sustainability refers to the capacity to meet the social, economic, and environmental needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
The Patel College of Global Sustainability spearheads research on sustainability with mufti-disciplinary faculty and research groups across the USF campus. It leads sustainability research that addresses all the three pillars of social, economic and environmental aspects by creating a collaborative environment and facilitating research opportunities for experts from the different sections to work together.
