After having started with the establishment of the School of Global Sustainability, USF recently upgraded the school into a full college (the Patel College of Global Sustainability). This is an inclusive and holistic college based on integrated interdisciplinary research, scholarship, and teaching. The college’s strength derives from the committed involvement of faculty representing natural and social sciences, engineering, business, the humanities, arts, and health. The vitality of the college is generated by performances, collaborations, courses, discussions, shared ideas, research, explorations, and engagements from all USF affiliated faculty and students. The curriculum in the college requires students to take several compulsory sustainability courses for graduation.
