Our analytics are based on the students that are taking "Citizen Scholar" courses. We identify courses as Citizen Scholar after we have reviewed the professor's syllabus and we see that they have a civic engagement/volunteer component tied into the course. Thus, we identified 429 students last semester, along with 10 students who work with the U.S. Food Recovery Network helping deliver leftover cafeteria food to homeless shelters in the St. Pete area. Furthermore, we have 11 students who are in our Garden Club who work with St. Pete Urban Agriculture Coalition to deliver fruits and vegetables from our campus garden to local churches.
