A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
At each new student orientation a 15 minute presentation is given about the sustainability aspects of the campus, promoting the clubs and organizations associated with sustainability, offering internship spots within the office of sustainability, encouraging students to submit sustainable project ideas to the student green energy fund, and overall explaining to every student that sustainability touches their life and should be important to them no matter their discipline of study. An accompanying table of information is open during the entire orientation, and students have the option to opt in to the sustainability news letter which will keep them informed for the duration of their time at the school.
