PRE-3: Institutional Boundary
College of Marine Science
A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
USF’s institutional boundary includes a non-contiguous forest preserve, river front park, the St. Petersburg Campus, and the Sarasota-Manatee Campus. The new USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) is a stand-alone building located in downtown Tampa. The College of Nursing, College of Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, and the School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences remain at the Tampa Campus. Structures at Tampa's Golf Course and River Front Park are not included in the reported building square footage.
Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
|Other professional school with labs or clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary)||Yes||Yes|
|Farm larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres||No||No|
|Agricultural experiment station larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres||No||No|
The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
The new USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) is a stand-alone building located in downtown Tampa connected to a private district plant. All reported buildings, on all three campuses, are served by local USF campus district energy plants.
