The WRC at the University of South Carolina assists in the enforcement of manufacturing Codes of Conduct adopted by the school. The FLA works to monitor standards set into place by the Collegiate Licensing Company. These standards that are monitored are workplace standards for any factory that produces gear for the university. They include wages, benefits, working hours, child labor, health and safety, and freedom of association. The CLC was established at the university in 1983 and has been at work since then.
