The University of South Carolina Office of Sustainability hosts the Sustainability Showcase each fall, at which the majority of presentations revolve around sustainability related topics. Presenters include students, faculty, staff, and community members. Each year we have over 30 presenters at the showcase.

Audrey Jones is on the board for Sustainable midlands. Larry Cook is on College and University Recycling Coalition and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Corporate Recovery Coalition, Austin Sutherland and Larry Cook both served on both on Climate Protection Action Campaign, Laura Anne Hunt served on the Southeastern EcoReps Board.

The University of South Carolina Office of Sustainability works closely with the Connecticut College Office of Sustainability to share ideas about growing sustainability on campus and assist each other with STARS reporting.

Austin Sutherland, Senior Coordinator for Reporting and Finance, conducted a peer review for Connecticut Colleges STARS report, working with Margaret Bounds.

Austin Sutherland is an instructor for Sustainability Across the Curriculum workshops on behalf of the University of South Carolina that aid many institutions with advancing their sustainability-orientated training for professional development.
