A brief description of the institution’s indoor air quality program(s) (including information about regular auditing or monitoring, mechanisms for occupants to register complaints, and action plans):
An IAQ Program is maintained by the industrial hygiene manager. There is no routine auditing or monitoring program in place. Currently, building occupants may request an IAQ assessment through EHS. The IH responds to all requests and conducts an assessment, which may vary in scope depending on the issue. After the assessment, the IH will forward any recommended corrective actions to the appropriate department responsible for managing the affected facility – usually Facilities or University Housing. The managing entity is responsible for implementing corrective actions.
