A brief description of how the assessment(s) were developed:
The 2014-15 sustainability literacy assessment was developed by instructors of ENV 101, an introductory environment science course for non-environmental science majors. The instructors drew inspiration for questions from available literacy assessments conducted at peer institutions. ENV 101 classes are open to the entire campus community, not specifically ENV majors, allowing it to be indicative of a representative sample.

The assessment was deployed to all sections of the course through Blackboard at the beginning and end of the semester.
