The campus master plan was updated in 2011 to specifically add sustainability to the long term planning efforts of the campus. The sustainability layer of the plan specifically adds considerations that address: natural systems and landscapes; water; energy & GHG; materials and waste; and transportation. Additional sections include economic sustainability to develop long term financing for sustainability efforts and social sustainability to ensure the campus master plan supports the campus mission and the community.
