A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

The EcoReps program developed and is now launching one of the first Green Dorm Room Certification Programs in the country. For students to participate in this program they first complete a checklist of sustainable habits, similar to many Green Office Certification programs. Their building EcoRep then does a room audit to ensure that they completed their checklist truthfully. After the room audit, the students are awarded a certification from level 1-4 (named Mist Green, Light Green, True Green, and Evergreen) and a window cling in the corresponding color.

To date we have 54 rooms certified through the program throughout almost all of our residence halls. We plan to do a follow up survey several months after the student's are certified to study any change in habits resulting from the certification process.
