Yes

A brief description of the incentive program(s):

The University of Sharjah announces annually an incentive award for outstanding faculty members in three fields research, teaching, and community services.
Faculty members can apply for their distinguished efforts in developing the courses.
For example, the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Department faculty members have the opportunity to develop all the offered focused sustainability courses. In addition to that, the UOS is working to encourage all the faculty members to add a part related to sustainability either in the course syllabus or as a part of the course activities (attached the call for participation).

Moreover, the Sustainable Curriculum Circle members are working to develop a new sustainability elective course to be offered to all UOS students (attached the proposal). The Circle members will be awarded by the higher administration and the Sustainability Office.
