A list of the institution level sustainability learning outcomes:

UoS requires all undergraduate students (the predominant student body) to study five compulsory courses (See Table 1, 1-General Education Requirements.docs in the additional supporting documents). It requires also that each student study three university electives to name some, Human Rights in Islam, Health Awareness and Nutrition, and Man and The Environment. (See Table 2). These courses aim to widen the student's knowledge and vision beyond his specialty such that the UoS graduates will be aware of challenges and ready to contribute to promoting humankind's lifestyle. As you can see, these courses cover a wide spectrum of topics that increase students’ awareness of environmental, social, economic, and health principles and challenges. Three years ago, the UoS had introduced a new course entitled Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship that is compulsory for all undergraduate students. These courses complement the specialized courses that students study in their majors. In addition, one of the UoS objectives is to contribute to the socio-cultural, scientific, and economic progress of society through social responsiveness and effective engagement. Recently, the UoS has released the updated KPIs which include sustainability as one of its main keys indicators.
