A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
SciVal, a research performance assessment tool that allows analysis of the data from the Scopus database which covers over 30 million publications from 1996 to the present, was used to create publication sets for USask research for SDGs 1-16 from 2019-2022. These publications were filtered by SCOPUS Author ID to eliminate non-USask researchers. Duplicates were removed from the aggregated list to obtain the full and final list.
The number of total research staff was taken from our 2022 list of SCOPUS Author IDs, which includes all USask faculty who have published in the past 3 years.
