In terms of new development, our Design Manual states:
"Stormwater Management: Where feasible, to limit disruption and pollution of natural water flows, specify stormwater management in accordance with the most recent version of LEED® Canada-NC Sustainable Sites Credits 6.1 and 6.2."

Strategies adopted include vegetated rooftops at the Law Building, stormwater retention ponds at the undergraduate and graduate students residences, and permeable surfaces at most of our car parking lots.
