A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:

At the Health and Wellness Resource Centre (HRWC) the principles of early intervention are applied to assist those who have an illness or injury, and/or medical circumstances that may affect their work/life balance.

Early intervention services provide employees with support for medical management, treatment plans, attendance support, and referrals to other services providers such as the Employee Assistance Program.

Health & Wellness administers short-term disability (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) benefits for the organization, which includes case management of the claims.
