A brief description of the program(s), (s), including availability, participation levels, and specifics about discounts or subsidies offered (including pre-tax options):
U-PASS is a service that provides that program provides students with public transportation service at less than $18 per month instead, of the usual rate of $71 per month for an adult bus pass.
Some students are exempt from this program, such as students that live in on-campus residences, have a disability parking pass, live outside city limits during the term, or are enrolled in distance education classes.
In addition, the University is currently doing a pilot project to assess the feasibility for a similar pass for staff, faculty and grad students.
