A brief description of the technology used:

Day light sensing technology is used at many buildings for control of interior lighting for spaces with exposure to daylight. Recently renovated spaces, new buildings and additions such as Murray Library, Place Riel, Academic Health Sciences incorporate a combination of motion, infrared, and light sensors for interior lighting control.
