A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
Though there are certainly cultural competence training and activities built into some programs, particularly in the health sciences colleges and education, there are no specific programs offered to the general student population. However, it has been discussed as part of the Student and Enrolment Services Third Integrated Plan to develop such programs for faculty, staff, and students, which would be voluntary and not mandatory training and activities.
