Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-out waste?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the program:
The Waste Prevention Coordinator worked with residences this past year to implement a program whereby useable articles no longer required by students on move-out were made available for exchange and/or donated to a local charity. This was of particular relevance to our international students who are often not able to take their accumulated possessions with them when they return to their home country. The intention is to continue and expand this program.
