A brief description of the guidelines for franchisees:
We do not have any formal guidelines that we require of franchises, but many of our branded concepts have their own sustainability policies and guidelines. We also try to integrate our own policies (such as potato-based cutlery and bleach-free napkins) into the branded concepts when possible. Our Starbucks location is located in a building that is currently applying for LEED-CI certification and was thus built with many green features.
