Yes

A brief description of the event(s):

The Office of Sustainability hosts a "green space" during Welcome Week every year to introduce students to sustainability initiatives. The years event featured campus waste reduction initiatives and cycling. This year the Office of Sustainability partnered with a community organization and the campus cycling group to hold a used bike sale.

Hike Bike and Roll is an event held in late September each year that promotes alternative transportation. It includes displays, free bicycle tune-ups and prizes. It is a collaboration of Student Health, the Office of Sustainability, the Students' Union and other campus groups.

Each year, the Students' Union hosts a Green Yourself Week during the week of Campus Sustainability Day. Specific events vary from year to year, but have included information fairs, displays, movies, speakers and workshops.

The Office of Sustainability holds a large event each year on Campus Sustainability Event, usually related to the development of a major new initiative or issue.

The Students' Union also works in partnership with the Office of Sustainability to hold events throughout the year. This past year, there were used bicycle sales, muggings (people who had paper cups had them replaced with reusable mugs), local food events, student debates on sustainability topics and film screenings.
