There are numerous sustainability student groups at the University of Saskatchewan.
The Eco-Health Interest Group is an inter-professional group of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and professionals from the Health Sciences colleges, Veterinary Medicine, School of Public Health, and Community Health & Epidemiology that come together to explore how environmental and sustainability issues can affect human health and how health professionals can affect change politically, in their professional practices, and in their personal lives.

Green Legal is an organization for law students interested in environmental law and all its interactions and facets. The goal of the group is to take on projects that will be used and useful in the real world, support the work of non-profit community groups, and help students develop their legal skills.

The Student Wellness Initiative toward Community Health (SWITCH) maintains an operating, interdisciplinary student-run health clinic in conjunction with health professionals and community partners to serve clients in Saskatoon's socially and economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. This is being done by extending the hours of the West Side Community Clinic, where SWITCH provides clinical services and health promotion programming.

The University of Saskatchewan Engineers Without Borders chapter is a student group dedicated to international development, and to reducing poverty by building the opportunities of those living in poverty in developing countries.

The Environmental Studies Students' Association (ESSA) is open to all students, the majority of which come from Geography, Land Use and Environmental Studies, Environmental Earth Sciences, Regional and Urban Development and Agriculture. ESSA's goal is to promote concern for the environment through various academic and recreational activities.

The Biology Club is for all students in Biology and related disciplines. Membership is also open to anyone who has a general interest in Biology, who are members of the Faculty and Staff of the Biology Department, and who are former graduates or persons employed in the area of Biology in and around the University of Saskatchewan. The Biology Club collaborates with other student groups on a number of sustainability events each year, including the Mug Run Challenge.

The School of Environment and Sustainability Student Association (SENSSA) is made up of graduate students from the University of Saskatchewan's School of Environment and Sustainability. Its mandate is to, among others, promote sustainability in all of its endeavors.

The Horticulture Club is a University of Saskatchewan campus club that promotes experiential learning in horticulture. Among other hands-on projects, the club provides produce grown in University greenhouses and community gardens to Food Services every year.

ROOTED is a student group that promotes grassroots urban gardening to utilize unused urban space. ROOTED has established planter gardens at various locations, including decks and rooftops, both on campus and throughout the City of Saskatoon.

The Campus Cycling Club is made up of cycling enthusiasts who want to promote bicycle transportation to students, staff, and faculty. Through partnerships with the Students' Union and the Office of Sustainability the club provides cycling activities and programs. The CCC will also advocate for the development of a bike co-operative that will rent or sell refurbished bicycles to students at fair rates, along with providing workshops on various topics such as winter cycling and bike maintenance. Above all, the CCC aims to reduce barriers to bike riding and empower people to choose this sustainable form of transportation-year round!
