USD partnered with SANDAG in 2022 to conduct an employee commuter analysis report. The survey was administered from July 11, 2022 to July 26, 2022. There were 568 total survey respondents from University of San Diego employees. The sample size goal was 97 respondents for approximately 3,278 commuters. Thus, the data met statistical significance within a 10 % margin of error.

The percentage of employees who drive a zero-emission vehicle was not able to ascertained from the SANDAG survey.
