The Sustainability Club sends out a monthly newsletter with sustainability education, information regarding events from a variety of other sustainability-related student organizations, and a recap of the club's events.  The Office of Sustainability and Sustainability Club have social media accounts with Instagram that focus specifically on campus sustainability. These platforms are regularly monitored and updated with fresh content. Content includes staff/student/faculty spotlights, upcoming events, sustainable living tips, local/regional/national/global news related to sustainability, programs, projects, and success stories related to sustainability on campus. @usdsustain on Instagram

The Student Life Pavilion, a LEED-NC Gold certified building, has signage that communicates its sustainability features to the campus community. There is also signage in the dining hall regarding the Harp CX2 Biodigester and reusable to go container program. There are also several signs throughout the campus that talk about how the particular plants in a landscaped area save money and resources.

Individuals who schedule their visit through Undergraduate Admissions are given a tour by an undergraduate student of the campus. The tour includes highlights of the sustainability features of the campus, including the solar panels, recycling, and grounds keeping practices. Additionally, there is a Sustainability Tour feature on the campus map site, which provides a suggested walking tour to see some of the campus' sustainability features. https://www.sandiego.edu/maps/ -> Tours -> Sustainability Tour

The Cultivate Living Learning Communities (LLC) at USD provide resident students the opportunity to be inspired by sustainability initiatives on campus, develop a passion for sustainability as part of a community, and develop into more socially mindful and responsible citizens. The Community Director (CD), Resident Advisors, and Scholastic Assistants for this LLC provide information to their residents about living sustainability. The CDs for all of the LLCs on campus also digitally provide green move-in tips prior to students arriving on campus. The Office of Sustainability has created other guides that are accessible on the Office's Resources web page, including a Zero Waste Event Guide and a Sustainability Committee Creation Guide.
