A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
The "Torero Bike Library" is available to all students and employees. These campus constituents are able to get a bike, free of charge, to use for the whole semester (or less, if desired), by signing it out from the Public Saftey office on campus. Public Safety will also provide the rider with a helmet and bike lock, all free of charge. (https://www.sandiego.edu/safety/messages/coming-fall-2019-rent-a-bike-for-free.php)

USD campus has Zipcars. Zipcar is a car-sharing program that allows students or staff to have the freedom of transportation when they need it. Zipcars are stationed on the USD campus and available for use at any time, making it easy for people to get around town without every person having a vehicle.

30 BLINK electric vehicle stations are installed at 5 locations across campus. These spaces are reserved for active electric vehicle charging.

The University of San Diego provides an opportunity for faculty to lease housing for a transitional period of up to two years. These rental opportunities are close to campus and are priced at below-market rental rates.

To encourage the use of alternate transportation, Parking Services offers complimentary Fresh Air Permits to employees who use alternate transportation to commute to work, such as walking, biking, or taking public transit. These permits allow free parking on campus for 16 times per semester.
