Every construction project has a stormwater management plan and devices that manage stormwater's impacts on the project and its surrounding area. At the Medical Center, there is a stormwater detention system that funnels water into tanks and slows their rate of release.At the Clinical and Translational Science Research Building, there is permeable pavement and a raingarden, one of three on campus. On River Campus, we have rain gardens that help to control runoff at O’Brien Hall, Genesee Hall, the Edmund Hajim Science and Engineering Quad (serving primarily Goergen Hall), and along Dewey Drive (between Wallis and Hutchison Halls).
