Transportation and Logistics partners with Regional Transit Service (RTS) to offer this benefit. U-Pass provides free rides on RTS buses, anytime, anywhere (fixed routes only; excludes RTS On Demand).
Full-time employees are eligible if they work at an approved location where a permit is required to park a vehicle and choose to forego an annual permit. PhD students with appointments who are living off campus are eligible for U-Pass.

In an effort to provide students, faculty, and staff with an easy, affordable and healthy way to get where they need to go, the Department of Transportation and Parking has partnered Veo.

Transportation and Parking Services partners with 511NY Rideshare to help the University community find carpool partners and discover transit options. Using the 511NY Rideshare platform students can manage their daily campus commuting needs, arrange trips to and from home for holidays and academic breaks, and locate transportation to off-campus events. Employees can find others to share their work commute or arrange one-time rides, locate transportation, and more. Commuters can find park and ride locations and avoid traffic by using the real-time traffic map.
