Description of the institution’s participation in sustainability-focused networks for educational institutions:
The University of Rochester is an institutional member of AASHE to connect with other institutions, build supportive relationships and collaborate together to find solutions to the challenges on campus.
 
The University of Rochester is also a representative of the New York Coalition for Sustainability in Higher Education (NYCSHE) which unites representatives of higher education and supporting organizations with a common interest to promote and support environmental, fiscal and social responsibility.
 
The University of Rochester also participates in the Ivy + Sustainability Collaborative, which drives higher education to excellence in global sustainability solutions and leveraging collective leadership and resources to advance sustainability in higheeducation and beyond.

In July 2023, Sustainability Senior Manager Amy Kadrie presented at the SUNYPPAA & NYAPPA Conference alongside Jennifer Haugh of GreenerU on a session titled Stakeholder Engagement for Decarbonization and Climate Action Planning.
