A brief description of the formal sustainability course designation program:
The University of Rochester course catalogue (cdcs.ur.rochester.edu) tags all courses that have a Sustainability component or focus with an "SUS" cross-listing. The designation is given to courses in the Sustainability minor, the Sustainability clusters, and additional courses that are identified by the faculty members teaching those courses and/or their departmental administrators. Each year, department chairs are contacted to identify new courses that should be added to the list.
Current and prospective students are able to search the catalogue for those designated courses.
