Employees sign up on a volunteer basis.

Employees will be invited to an initial kick-off event to give them information. Each member will be asked to take the University’s Go Green Pledge (http://www.rochester.edu/sustainability/pledge/index.php) and to encourage others in their department to do the same. Each month employees receive a newsletter with information on a particular topic. The newsletter will include ideas on how to educate their peers and how to encourage sustainable behaviors on the topic. For the first pilot year of the program, the topics will be narrowly focused on items in the Go Green Pledge (e.g. reusing materials, energy saving, alternative transportation, etc.)
