A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
The Rethink Waste Manager regularly attends Projects Meetings and asks Project Managers to please consider waste when planning projects and to please share diversion reports when provided by contractors.

Each new construction or major renovation project develops a construction waste diversion plan with the goal of diverting at least 75%. Construction debris is handled by a single source contractor on larger jobs. Management of new construction waste has averaged better than 90% diversion.
