A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Every two weeks, Office for Sustainability staff deliver a presentation that covers an introduction to sustainability across the globe and sustainability more specifically on campus. All new faculty and staff receive this presentation during orientation. This presentation includes information on the University's commitment to sustainability and information on waste reduction, recycling, energy conservation, water conservation, transportation, and other sustainability resources that are available to employees. Campus tours involve some sustainability content.
