In July 2020, the University of Richmond signed on to administer simultaneous climate surveys of our students, staff, and faculty using instruments from the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI). HERI, a UCLA-based research institute, is home to the nation’s largest and oldest empirical study of higher education, the CIRP longitudinal study of the college student experience, and provides the climate survey data to participating schools and uses the empirical data to inform ongoing efforts to improve higher education experiences.
