A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

All new faculty and staff receive a handout during the first day of orientation which includes information on the University's commitment to sustainability and information on waste reduction, recycling, energy conservation, water conservation, transportation, and other sustainability resources which are available to employees. The orientation leader briefly discusses the handout with each group and instructs them to direct any questions to the Office for Sustainability.
