UQ has several diversity and equity committees at all levels of the organisation. The most senior committee is The Senate Committee for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion which covers both staff and student issues. Each Faculty, and many schools and institutes, Institute also have an Equity and Diversity Committee which considers both staff and student diversity.
All staff (both academic and non-academic) complete mandatory Equity Training during induction and then after every two years of employment. Information about the training can be found here:
