UQ students are regularly invited to attend and participate in sustainability networks including ACTS networks and Go8 networks and committees.
UQ’s Gender Steering Committee was formed to implement our SAGE Athena SWAN Action Plan as we progress towards Silver accreditation. The GSC comprises representatives from across UQ, including staff (academic and professional) and students, who bring diverse experience from different roles, career stages, work arrangements, and personal backgrounds.

- UNSW building large scale off site renewables project (mentored)
- Monash Tesla Battery project (mentor)
- Flinders Tesla Battery project (mentor)
- UNE UQ's Gatton solar farm (mentor)

- UoS desk top bin program (mentored)
- UTas and JCU community garden (mentored)
- UNSW single use plastics (mentor and also mentored at various stages)
