A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
Data has been obtained from the academic database of enrolments to all course offerings. This information was reviewed against the defined sustainability criteria with course descriptions being analysed against keywords.
Keywords were used to initially identify potential courses that could be sustainability focused or sustainability inclusive. Course descriptions were then analysed against the keywords to further refine and identify applicable courses.
The course descriptions are the key criteria for evaluation so courses with sustainability as the main focus were classified as 'Sustainability Focused'. Courses that contained content that were inclusive of sustainability were classified as 'Sustainability Inclusive'.
